Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked small pasta
1 small onion chopped fine
3 tablespoons of margarine or butter
2 ½ cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt - a matter of taste you can add more when cooked

Melt the margarine or butter in a pot.

Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown

Add the uncooked little pasta and sauté until dark golden brown.
Keep an eye on it so that it does not burn and mix often. It should take only a few minutes.

Add water and salt and bring to a boil.

Put the fire on low and cover the pot. After about 5 min check to see if all the water has been absorbed.
If it has turn off the fire , cover the pot again and let it sit covered for about 5 min.
If all the water has not been absorbed cover and continue cooking on low flame for a few minutes more. Keep checking so it doesn’t burn.
