How to make an 8 pointed star from 4 paper strips

This guide will show you how easy it is to make a star with eight points from four strips of paper.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Paper
Paper glue

Cut 8 equal size strips of paper

Take a strip and fold it in half.
Unfold

Fold the top and bottom edges to the center crease mark

Result

Fold all 8 strips the same way

Place one strip horizontally
Take a second strip and place it vertically on top of the first strip.

Align the top crease of the vertically strip to the top edge of the horizontal strip. The left side should align to the crease of the horizontal strip.

Glue in place

Take a third strip and align the top crease to the top of the horizontal strip with the right side aligned to the crease.

Glue in place

Put a fourth strip under the 2 vertical strips

The creases of the fourth strips should align with the outside edges of the vertical strips.
The bottom of the fourth strip should align with the creases of the vertical strips.

Glue in place

Repeat with the other 4 strips to have 2 of these shapes
