This guide will show you how to make a paper vase for light weight paper flowers. You can also use this neat standing shape to write table numbers on with or without flowers.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

<p> Materials:</p>
<p> 1 peice of sturdy paper twice the height of the width - * This is a tall thin vase. To make it shorter make the height of the paper shorter.</p>
<p> 1 different color piece of sturdy paper the same width but 1/4 the height</p>
<p> Round object</p>
<p> Scissors</p>
<p> Paper glue</p>
<p> Pen or penci</p>

Materials:

<p> Place both papers with the short edges at the top and bottom.</p>
<p> Make a 1 inch fold at the top of both papers. Unfold</p>

Fold the bottom edges up to the crease.

Fold the bottom edges up to the crease again.

<p> Take the smaller paper</p>
<p> Place half of the circular object, in the middle at the side of the folded part.</p>
<p> Trace around the half circle and then cut it out.</p>

<p> Unfold the papers.</p>
<p> Place the large paper on top of the small paper, halfway down to the top of the arcs. Make sure it is straight and all the creases are aligned.</p>
<p> See next picture of result. Glue it in place.</p>
