This guide will show you how to fold a napkin into a tie. It is nice by itself and a nice addition to the shirt napkin fold.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 square napkin

Use a paper napkin as it comes folded in the
package.
A cloth napkin needs to be fold it in half once horizontally and once vertically.

Place the napkin on the table with the open side on the bottom.

Fold the top sides down to align at the center.

Result

Fold the top point down level with the side points.

See next picture for results.

Fold the point back up to the top.

Make a fold down at the top as shown in the picture.

Bring the layer that is under the fold you just made up and over the fold.

Result

Flip the napkin over to the back side.

Fold the sides to the center and align them.

result

Flip the napkin back over to see the finished tie.

You can place it on a plate as is or add it to a napkin folded into a shirt.
