This is a tender chicken dish, cooked in and smothered with a delicious topping made from tomatoes, carrots and basil

Instructions:

<p> Ingredients:</p>
<p> 1 whole chicken cut into pieces</p>
<p> 1 egg</p>
<p> 1/2 cup flour</p>
<p> 1 teaspoon salt, pinch of black pepper</p>
<p> 3 tablespoons oil</p>
<p> 1/4 cup chopped onion</p>
<p> 2 cloves garlic chopped</p>
<p> 1/4 cup chopped carrots</p>
<p> 1 teaspoon dried basil or 1 tablespoon fresh</p>
<p> 2 cups of chopped tomatoes</p>
<p> 1/4 cup wine</p>

Ingredients:
