How to make the Yemenite hot pepper spread Zhug

Zhug is very quick and easy to make. This recipe is for hot pepper lovers. Hot! Hot! Hot!

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Ingredients:

1 large bunch cleaned coriander
8 -10 hot green peppers with the stems cut off
6 cloves of garlic crushed
½ teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil

Add the coriander in the mixer and run for about a minute or until all the leaves are chopped to tiny pieces.

Add the crushed garlic and run the blender a few seconds

Add the hot peppers and run the blender until all the peppers are chopped to tiny pieces

Add the cumin powder, salt and oil and run the blender for a few seconds or until all the ingredients are completely mixed.

Do not do what I did and lick the spoon!
