This model is known as the traditional Origami Massu box. It was originally used to store or measure rice. It is a great box to whip up to store or organize things like paper clips and rubber bands.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 square sheet of paper

If your paper is colored on one side place the paper on the table with the colored side down.

Fold it in half horizontally and unfold.

Fold in half vertically and unfold.

Fold the 4 corner points to the center.

Fold the sides to the center.
Unfold

Open the top and bottom flaps
Fold the left and right sides to the center

Lift up the left and right flaps from the center, at the same time fold the paper underneath on the horizontal line indicated and press the diagonal creases that form as indicated in the picture
