Google Analytics is a powerful tool that allows you to see data about your site. You can view how people came to the site, how they moved within the site, the physical location of the visitors, what browser they used and all sorts of interesting and relevant information to improve the browsing experience on your site.
If you know how to use this tool correctly you will become more efficient and improve your site significantly.

Instructions:

Go to the Google Analytics site.
You can click on the link below this guide or if you type "google analytics" on the Google search engine it will be the first result

A screen will be displayed with all sorts of data. It is not relevant just yet because the site is not connected to Google Analytics yet.
To add your site, you must click on the button " Add new profile+"

Open field where you enter the URL of your site.

If you get a message that it has not been installed - don't panic, it's okay,
The code needed hasn't been installed yet.

Below the post you will see New Tracking Code and Script window.

Highlight and copy the script in the window (Ctrl + C).
Open another window with the source code of the site and just before the end of the code (before the or ) Paste the copied script.

Save the source code and refresh the Google Analytics page on your browser - the result should be the message waiting for data
Everything is ready, now just waiting visitors to come to the site and you can analyze the information.
