How to fold a napkin into a 6 pointed star

A napkin folded into a 6 pointed star will add a holiday atmosphere to your table.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

You will need 1 square napkin

Unfold the napkin

Bring the right bottom corner up to the middle crease

See next picture for result

Fold the bottom up a little more than 1/4 of the way

Bring the bottom edge up to align with the right edge

Bring the bottom point up to the top edge

Bring the top point of the fold you just made down past the bottom edge

The point sticking out at the bottom is equal to the little triangles at each side

Bring the top right point down to the bottom left edge

Fold the point back just above the right edge - as you did for the bottom point

Fold the top layer of the right point just above the left edge - as you did for the other points

Result

You can leave the star as it is. Just carefully flip it over and put it on a plate

or you can continue 2 more
steps to make a more secure fold

Lift up the top layer of the bottom right point and insert the bottom of the top right layer into
the “pocket”

Lift up the top layer of the top point and insert the left point bottom edge into the “pocket”

result

Flip it over and place on a plate
