How to make paper tulips – children’s paper crafts

These cute paper tulips are very easy to make.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 square paper for flower
1 square or rectangle for the stem
Scissors
Paper glue
Chop stick, paintbrush or similar object

Place the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides.

Bring the bottom point up to the top to fold it in half
Crease and unfold

Bring the right point to the left to fold in half.
Crease and unfold

Rotate the paper so that the straight edges are at the top, bottom and sides.

Bring the bottom straight edge to the top to fold in half
Crease and unfold

Bring the right straight edge to the left to fold it in half
Crease and unfold

Make equal sized slits, about 3/4 of the way to the center, along the horizontal and vertical creases

Rotate the paper so that the points are at the top, bottom and sides

Bring the top edge on the right side of the slit (shown in yellow) to the center crease on the left.
A cup shape will begin to form. Glue it in place.
