Do you want to start surfing but don't know which surfboard you should get?
This guide is for the beginner surfer who wants to buy a new or used surfboard.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Surfboard length:
It depends on the height of the surfer, weight and of course the level of experience of the user.
Beginner's surfboards need to be length of between 4 to 6 inches more than your height

Surfboard width:
The width of the board also depends on height, weight and level of the user.
Beginner surfers need a wide board. It will give them the best possible stability.
The stability makes it easier for the beginner to learn the basics, rowing, standing on the surfboard and riding it.

Thickness of the board:
When you start to surf it is important that the surfboard be thick. It has good buoyancy on the water and of course greater stability.

Tips

* You have to start with the basics or you will be overwhelmed when you surf * Length, thickness and width of the surfboard and the type of waves are important considerations when choosing a surfboard. The less experience you have the larger dimensions you need to learn to float and to catch waves. After you learn the basics and then as you advance as a surfer you can reduce these dimensions to increase the maneuverability with the board.

Surfer - you should know that this is your first surfboard and not the last one. Choose the appropriate sizes for you skill level
