Games and Hobbies

Both players fold a sheet of paper in half and draw the same grid on each half.   
*In this example a 10 by 10 grid was used . The players can decide on any size grid.  
Since it is a 10 by 10 grid the first 10 Letters of the alphabet are written on the top and the numbers 1 to 10 are written on the side.  
One grid will be used for your ships and the other for guessing your opponents ships.    You can write "My Ships" on top of one grid and "Opponent's Ships" above the second grid or your names.  
Make a list of all the ships you will use in this game and the markings for a correct and incorrect guess.  

5 ships will be used in this game.
1 of 1 grid, 2 grids, 3 grids, 4 grids and 5 grids.

Place one of each ship on the grid for "My Ships".
They can be placed anywhere horizontally or vertically.  

You cannot see your opponent's page.
Here is an example of the placements of your ships and the opponent's ships * that you cannot see.  

The players take turns guessing on which grid spot their opponent's ships are placed.
  In this example column E and row 5 was guessed.
If the opponent says that it is a miss it is marked with an X.  
*See step 4 that shows your opponents page to understand why it was a miss.

The first player to guess where all the ships are wins.  
If you look at the grid you will see the 5 ships marked with O.
