How to make free ringtones for iPhone

This guide will show you how to turn your favorite music into a ringtone.

Difficulty level: Advanced

Instructions:

Open - itunes

Find your favorite song

Listen to the song and decide which part of it you want for the ringtone

Write down the start and end time of the song clip

Right click and see "get info"

Click on "options"

Enter the "start time" and the "end time"

Click on "OK"

Again right click on the song and then "convert selection to AAC"

itunes will create a copy by itself

Right click again on the ringtone (the copy) and delete

Click on "keep files"

Find the file on your computer. It usually has a m4a extension

Change the file extention - (right click - change name)
change the extention to m4r

Double click on the file and itunes will add it to the ringtone folder

Connect and synchronize your iphone!
