How to fold an Origami heart (Children's Origami)

This guide will show you how to fold a very easy Origami heart. Great for children.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

To make this heart you will need 1 piece of paper.
The length should be 4 times the width.

Place the paper so that the short ends are at the top and bottom.

If you are using paper colored on one side the color side should be facing down.

Bring the bottom edge up to the top edge to fold it in half.

Unfold

Fold the top corners down to the center so that they meet and align.

Fold the bottom corners up to the center so that they meet and align.

Fold the tip of the top triangle down to its straight edge.

Fold the tip of the bottom triangle up to its straight edge

Rotate the paper so that the long edges are at the top and bottom.
Fold one side up to align with the middle crease. Repeat with other side

Your heart is ready!

Tips

You can glue the hearts on greeting cards, gifts and pictures.
