You will need:
Empty sticker labels
A large black magic marker
A pen and paper

If you are on a budget go to your local shoe stores and ask them for empty boxes.
If you have large things then collect larger empty cardboard cartons from local stores

Divide everything into piles of the same type or category.

Start with the most used category

Put the items of the same category in a shoe box.
Write on 5 labels what it is and give it a number.
Put a label on the top and sides of the box.

Divide your paper about ¼ of the way on the left side - lengthwise.
Write the name and number of the label on the left side.
Write all the items in the box below it on the right side.

It will be easier if you write down the items as you put them in the box

When you have finished store your boxes with the lowest numbers on top

If you cannot remember which box you stored something in, refer to your list
