This guide will show you how easy it is to use the side of a square to make it into an equilateral triangle.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Square piece of paper or cardboard
Strip of paper the same length of 1 side of the square
Pen or pencil
Scissors

Cut a strip of paper the same length as 1 side of the square

Fold the strip of paper in half

Use the folded strip to mark the halfway point of the side of the square

Unfold the paper strip
Put the bottom left point of the strip on the pen mark
Pivot the paper strip until the left top point touches the right edge of the square and mark the spot with a pen or pencil
