This guide will show you how to make a cute box without needing a printer. It can be filled with party goodies, a gift or to store things.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
Thick paper 9 inches x 7 inches
Paper glue
Scissors
Ribbon or string
Pen

Place your paper so that the short edges are at the sides.

Bring the right edge over to the left, as if you were going to fold it in half. Do not crease. Pinch the 2 side edges to mark the middle points

Fold the left and right sides to the pinch marks
Unfold

Fold the left and right edges to the crease marks you just made in the last step.
Unfold

Fold the bottom edge up about ½ inch

Bring the top edge down to the folded bottom edge to fold in half.
Unfold

Fold the bottom and top edges to the center crease you just made

Result
Fold in half horizontally

On the second middle squares from each end, mark 2 small lines in their centers.

Make lines from the middle of the marks to the corners of the creases. See the picture.
Pay attention that there is a space between the lower and upper triangles

Cut out the triangles

Unfold and put glue on the small fold at the top.

Bring the bottom edge up top edge - to fold in half and press down on the glue.

Stick your fingers inside and push outwards to make the box shape

Put ribbon or string around the area with the cut triangles. Gently pull the strings together with a knot.

You may have to help the points go inward a little

Put the treats in before closing the second side.

Your treat box is ready!

You can glue a decorative strip, names or ribbon along the center after step 11.
